Behind Joe Biden
The background behind candidates effect who they become and the issues they represent. While on their way back from shopping for a Christmas tree his wife and three kids were involved in a car wreck in which his wife and infant daughter were killed while his two sons were severely injured. At the bedside of his sons he was persuaded to be sworn into the senate. Although it was an unusual way to become a senator, it shows that Joe Biden has the ability to see if something is important or not even in the most horrific time, proving that as vice president he’ll be able to tell what’s right for this country. In 1987, while running for president and while presenting a speech he was accused of plagiarism of a speech given by British politician Neil Kinnock. However it turned out to be a one time mistake but it was too late to rejoin his campaign. Since he has already entered the presidential field it shows that he is already experienced, which will help in the long run if Obama were to win the election. Ones views and beliefs are influenced by their bakcground and what they have experienced.
The past events of ones life influences how they will act and be affected by specfic events. In the eighties Joe Biden was hospitalized with a pair of brain aneurysms, which he was successfully able to recover from. Even through the mental stress of losing his wife and daughter he was still able to fight his way through this, proving that it will take a lot to make him give up. A few years after his original wife was killed Joe Biden remarried to Jill Biden, who helped him take care of his injured sons. His act shows that he will continue to keep moving forward while still remembering the past. Joe Biden has lived through a lot yet he seems unable to be stop as he continues to pursue his task of creating a better country. Behind Barack Obama
Events of the past effect who people become in the future. At the age of two Barack Obama’s parents separated then later divorced leaving him to grow up with his mother while his father went back to live in Kenya. Since this event happened at an early age he wasn’t severely affected by it. Yet it did teach him to become more independent for much of the time he had no one there to help him. His mother was busy supporting herself and him so he had to learn to do things on his own. In 1995 Obama’s mother died of ovarian cancer leaving him to live with his grandparents back in Hawaii. Obama has experienced a rough time by losing his mother yet he learned to pick himself up and start fresh, showing that even with the worst loss he will keep moving forward. The type of people we become is higly effected by the events which occur to us during our lives.

Surviving in a school where you seem to be different is extraordinary yet Obama went beyond this and achieved so much more. Obama’s personality contains a trait which will help push him through many tough times, which is to always shoot for the best and never let anything get in your way. In 2004 Obama became the third African American to be elected into the US Senate. With big dreams continuing to fill his mind Barack Obama continues to see himself as an equal to those around him and sees no reason why any of them should get in his way of accomplishing his goals. Obama comes across as a fighter who will fight not only for his country but for everything he believes in as well. The influences of our past effects our character for the future. On December 4th, 2006 Sarah Palin became the youngest and only women to become governor of Alaska as she took office at the early age of 42. Palin shows that she has many dreams and doesn’t want to waste time in making them come true. Her personality contains the trait of one who always has a big picture and will do anything to accomplish her goals. Prior to being elected Sarah Palin served two terms in the office as the mayor of Wasilia City. Sarah Palin has been in politics for a long period of time, giving her lots of experience with handling the responsibilities of being in charge of such a huge nation. As we go through life our character in higly effect by the evnts which occur to us.

Behind John McCain
The events that we bring upon ourselves are higly determined by the events of our past. When it came time to end his military career John McCain chose to stay behind with his own men until they were given the freedom to come home as well. As the next president John McCain shall come across as loyal for he has proven that he will never leave a man behind. During his twenty-two year military career five of these years were spent in a Vietnamese prisoner of war camp. Although he was tortured throughout these years he remained strong and stuck through it. His mental toughness shows that as president John McCain won’t be afraid to go the extra length to defend his country even during the most stressful times. The way our past has made us will always effect the events we bring upon ourselves in thr future.
